Working with the Apple/Alexa/Google

Apple home

The apple ecosystem will perform two pairing processes during pairing: the first time is paired by the home app; the second time is shared by the home app and paired with the homepod.

Pair

Refer to Pairing and Managing Matter Accessories to add Matter devices on iPhone.

To add a Matter accessory to the Home app:

  1. Open the Home app on your iPhone or iPad and tap the Add button.

  2. Tap Add Accessory. If your Matter accessory was previously paired to another app, tap More options then select your Matter accessory.

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish setup.

Warning

You must set up a home hub to add supported Matter accessories to the Home app.

Remove Matter accessories

  1. On the Matter Accessories screen, tap Edit.

  2. Tap the Delete button next to the accessory that you want to remove.

  3. Swipe or tap Remove to confirm that you want to remove the accessory.

  4. Choose Remove From All Services.

Amazon Alexa

Alexa app can add and manage Matter devices on both ios and android

Pair

  1. Open Alexa app.

  2. Tap the Devices button at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Tap the “+” button in the upper right corner of the screen.

  4. Tap the “Add Device” button.

  5. Scroll down, click “Other”, click “Matter”.

  6. Follow the on-screen prompts to scan the QR code to start pairing.

Remove Matter accessories

  1. Tap the Devices button at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Tap the “All Device”，Select the device to delete.

  3. Tap the settings icon in the upper right corner.

  4. Tap the delete icon in the upper right corner.

  5. Tap the “DELETE”，delete the device.

Warning

You must set up the home hub Amazon Echo to pair and control Matter devices.

Google home

Pair

  1. Open GHA(Google Home App).

  2. Tap the “+” icon.

  3. Tap the “Set up device”，And tap teh “New device”.

  4. Select your home and tap “Next”.

  5. GHA will scan your device. Once it prompts you if you want to set up your device, click “Set up a different device”.

  6. Tap the “Matter device”.

  7. Scan the QR code to complete pairing.

Warning

The Google ecosystem cannot pair uncertified devices and requires the use of certified certificates and CDs.

Warning

The Google ecosystem requires central control to control matter devices.

Remove Matter accessories

  1. Tap the device。

  2. Tap the setting。

  3. Tap the delete device。
